Marseille E-Bike Adventure: Breathtaking Sormiou Calanques

Terrific ride through rural & urban areas. Great guides, terrific scenery. Altogether great experience

We loved our bike excursion to the Calanques. Martin was a great tour guide, and gave us lots of information about the area as we rode. The scenery was beautiful as we rode, and the Calanques were impressive. A great day!

Not fully electric bikes. You do have to pedal. Manu and Stephan were great. Helped us out when wife was struggling. We are in the 50+ age range and unsurprisingly, less fit than we thought. Great experience and wonderful views. You do get the chance to go for a swim. So, remember to take your swimming costume.

Must see amazing experience across the protected areas of Marseille a good workout, a good tour guide, and amazing views.

Great ride - the park was closed for the day because of extreme winds, but had a great alternate route to see the park from a parallel road. Very accommodating with our cruise ship arriving late. Teen boys favorite excursion.

This was by the far the best thing we did in Marseille! We were on a cruise and this excursion was perfect for our group of 10. Our guide was Martin and he was great leading us from the bike shop through the streets of Marseille and into the beautiful National Park. The ride was on electric bikes (which helped a ton) and had paved roads as well as gravel/rock/dirt. There are some steep inclines and declines, but the views of the bay (they call it a Calanque) at the top were breathtakingly beautiful and we even got some free time to explore the beach and water. Ages 11 through 51 enjoyed the excursion and we would highly recommend trying it!

We really enjoyed it but they should be a little more descriptive about the terrain for other people. Part of the excursion is a true mountain bike experience with gravel and rock. If you are not comfortable with that then don't do this! Otherwise the scenery is amazing and the guide Nickolas was very nice. It did get a little hectic when we got got back to the beach because it was Sunday and there was a lot of traffic and people.

We had a great time! There is spectacular scenery, great equipment, knowledgeable and friendly guides. The "assist" capability of the bikes was wonderful as there were some steep places on the route. Suggestion: change the wording for "Meeting point" to "Across from the Avia gas station and next to restaurant Le Carre" (instead of "In front of Avia gas station and near restaurant Le carre). We waited across the street in front of the gas station for 10 minutes until someone called to us.

Best active tour we've ever done. Frank was a great guide, the scenery was beautiful, and the e-bikes were a lot of fun. Had to uber/taxi from cruise port for about 20 minutes, but well worth it.
